NIFF Youth Football League: Anantnag FA holds J&K Bank FA to goalless draw

SRINAGAR: In the ongoing NIFF Youth Football League 2021 at Synthetic Turf Football Stadium Srinagar three matches were played on Tuesday.
In first match of the League, SCFA Srinagar outplayed Gungbugh FA by 6-0 that proved to be a one side affair for the SCFA from the whistle go. Feroz Ahmad of SCFA was adjourned Player of the Matcha award.
Second match of the day was played between ARCO Sopore FA and Tengpora FA which was also a one side dominated match in favour of ARCO won by 6-1. Kashif Rashid of Arco FA received Player of the match award.
In the third and last encounter of the day Anantnag FA surprised J&K Bank FA by a goalless draw, thus Anantnag FA taking a point away from this game. Mohammad Salah of NIFF Anantnag was given the player of the match award.
The League is first of its kind of initiative taken by NIFF for providing ample platform to junior age group players. Both the MOM awards carry ₹1500/- of cash and a memento .
The Youth Football League is being organized by NIFF J&K in collaboration with J&K Sports Council.
