KHCC, SSCC win their matches

JAMMU AND KASHMIR PREMIER LEAGUE
SRINAGAR : SSCC Bemina and Kashmir Harvard Zoonimar CC won their matches of the ongoing Jammu Kashmir Premier League t20 cricket tournament matches played at Green Valley Educational Institute here on Thursday.
The first match today was played between SSCC Bemina and Elegant Strikers. SSCC Bemina opted to bat first and posted a total of 179 runs in alloted 20 overs. Fazil Rashid (31 of 23 balls), Imtiaz Dar (32 of 24 balls) were among the top scorers for SSCC Bemina. For Elegant Strikers Basit Bhat claimed three wickets.
In reply Elegant Strikers were bundled out for 137 runs. For Elegant Strikers Afan Wani scored run a ball 33. For SSCC Bemina, Abrar Bhat claimed three wickets. Faisal Mir for his outstanding all-round performance was adjudged as Man of the Match.
The second game was played between Kanwal LBSCC and Kashmir Harvard Zoonimar CC. Kashmir Harvard Zoonimar CC won the toss and elected to bat first. They managed to put a total of 152 runs. Manzoor Dar (51 of 36 balls), Sabit Khan (30 of 29 balls) were among top run scorers for their team. For Kanwal LBSCC Samiullah Beigh took three wickets and conceded 23 runs only. In reply Kanwal LBSCC middle order collapsed and failed to chase the target. Javid Mir (46 of 28) was the highest run scorer for his team. Usaid Firdous claimed four wickets for his team whereas Amir Afzal claimed three wickets. Manzoor Dar for his outstanding allround performance was given Man of the Match.
